Ms. Rehema Nakato Ssesimba, the programs officer for Nile Explorer bus program, a project promoting hands on skills and technology among the young people has urged learners to have a positive mindset towards science subjects she described as key in their lives.
Closing a -four day retreat training on computer skills, technology, engineering and mathematics held at Margherita Excel secondary school in Kasese Municipality organized by Open space center-Uganda, Ms. Nakato said science education gives students the opportunity for skills on how certain things function, centers on innovation, global competiveness and human advancements which are significant in one’s life.
