The State House Comptroller Jane Barekye has called upon leaders to sensitize youth to support government programs, especially the presidential initiative on skilling the youth.
Barekye made the remarks while presiding over the 1st Graduation ceremony of 198 youth at Rwenzori Zonal Hub Mubuku in Mubuku town council, Kasese district.
The youth successfully completed their training in tailoring, welding and Carpentry.
Ms. Barekye said state house is planning to introduce a common user facility, where the hub will be fully equipped with machines and materials to enable their students practice freely in the hub and sell their products to earn a living. Ms.Barekye on hub…
Barekye also urged the people to accumulate wealth through four sectors of the economy including, Commercial Agriculture, Industrialization, ICT, tourism and hospitality.
Dr. Crispas Kiyonga, the NRM Chairperson Kasese District thanked President Museveni for having started the skilling program which he said will continuously help the youth especially school dropout.
