The Local leadership of Nyakiyumbu sub-county in Kasese district have requested residents to support the idea of splitting Nyakiyumbu into more administrative units.
Mr. Sunday Peter Kakule, the chairperson Local Council three, who sounded the request on Tuesday during monitoring by the District boss, Mr. Erifaz Muhindi, guided on how Nyakiyumbu should be split.
Kakule, who said was representing the voice of his electorates from Nyakiyumbu sub-county, was very optimistic that once the split is done, services would be extended nearer to the people. Mr. Kakule speaking…
Mr. Martin Muhindo, the area Local council one chairperson for Musisyo Village concurred with Kakule saying previous sub-county councils had forwarded the proposal to the district council for consideration. Mr. Martin speaking….
Responding to the concerns, Mr. Muhindi called for calm saying there is a provision of creating more administrative units next financial year.
