Mr. Selevest Byaruhanga, the local council one chairperson for Kasenyi landing site in Lake Katwe subcounty in Kasese district, has called for the intervention of the Kasese RDC, Lt. Joe Walunsimbi and Mr. Erifaz Muhindi, the Kasese district local council five chairman into what he described as the disturbing low voltage solar power that was installed for public consumption.
Mr. Byaruhanga’s statements follow last week’s attempted protests by the local community members and this morning’s interview with Mr. Majidu Musisi and Joachim Bwambale like many locals who say run petty businesses at a loss over the unreliable solar power in the area.

Whereas Mr. Byaruhanga appreciates government for their main murrum road connecting the fishing site to the rest of the district and the prevailing peace, he calls for urgent interventions by the district leadership for stable power, an ambulance and the elevation of their health center two to a three status.
