Mr. Samson Mutahunga the local council one chairperson for Mumbuzi cell in Nyamwamba Division Kasese Municipality is in police custody, Rwenzori East police spokesperson, ASP Ismail Kawo has confirmed.
Addressing the press at Kasese central police station yesterday(27th.May.2022), ASP Kawo said the arrest of Mr. Mutahunga is related to the beating and later death of 13 year old pupil at Mary Orphanage Primary school in Kasese Municipality, late Landus Kule 13.
Landus was reportedly pounced at by yet to be identified suspects at Mumbuzi Boda-Boda stage on May 15 on allegation of stealing sandals, but the area chairperson concealed the information until the minors death.ASP Kawo speaking 1….
