The local council one Chairperson for Bulindingulu Village in Bugoye sub county in Kasese district is reportedly sleeping in the Bush for fearing arrest by police over an alleged encroachment caused by his office`s decision to open a community access road to ease communication in the area.
Mr. Bwakere Chance who is reportedly in hiding with his official stamp says the decision to open the access road did not gone well with one Mr. Ezrone Syaipuma who already reported a case of land encroachment to police, causing the arrest and detention of the area local council one vice Chairperson only identified as Tomas Kyakuma Tomas.
He calls for the intervention of the Kasese RDC who is the head of security in the district, saying that their decision wasn’t a personal matter but to respond to a public concern. Mr. Bwakere speaking….
To Bugoye sub county councilor representing Kibirizi parish, Hon. Gloria Tumusinginze Katabana, the incident is a regret but called for both political and technical intervention that would see the two local leaders freed.
