The Ordinary of the Diocese of Kasese, Rt. Rev Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale has challenged the Kasese people to tell the world about what they particularly export to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Addressing Mourners before the requiem mass for the 85 year old late Angelina Mbambu Kabahindi, the mother to Rev. Fr. Peter Mubunga Basaliza, the Parish Priest for Kitswamba, Bishop Kibira who sounded concerned could not believe that eggs, sheep, goats, cows, produce and chicken exported to the neighboring DR Congo were from others areas and not Kasese.
He argued the mourners against laziness which he says is a sin before the Creator. Bishop Kibira speaking1………
The Bishop used his speech time to re-echo his earlier call for hard work by engaging in income generating activities, including massive coffee growing in the district to improve their livelihoods.

The Bishop`s address followed statements by Hon. Godfrey Kabyanga, the State Minister for National guidance that whereas the local community should massively engage in growing the highly demanded coffee from Kasese to improve their incomes and living conditions, adulating the crop had frustrated strategies to popularize it in the world market. Hon. Kabyanga speaking…….
On his homily during requiem Mass Presided over by the Ordinary of Kasese, Rt. Rev. Kibira, Fr. John Baptist Kule, the Parish Priest for Bukangara called for hard work before asking believers in Christ to keep prepared because death is part of them. Rev Fr. Baptist speaking…..
