It looked strange but true when a landlord in Kidodo cell in Kasese Municipality removed part of the iron sheets from his house as means to send away a tenant who had reportedly failed to pay for house rent.
The area local council one chairperson, Mr. Sharifu Geoffrey Masereka confirmed without giving much details about the act of the landlord whom he said had however complained to his office about a tenant who could not pay for house rent but also refused to vacate his house.
Mr. Shariff who asked tenants to be human to house owners, said the landlord who had informed police, only left open the room occupied by the suspected un cooperative tenant. Mr. Sharifu speaking1………
He also said that tenant was not only abusive but had failed to clear one hundred shillings in rent arrears.
