The temporary camp established by the disgruntled land claimants at the Kasese RDC office, may not dissolve after the protesters were dissatisfied with the land minister’s decision for them to wait for more three months as the land surveyors technically analyze concerns on the contested pieces of land across the district.
Addressing more than 2000 land claimants at the Kasese Multipurpose hall this afternoon, Hon. Sam Mayanja, the State Minister for land, called for what many described as self-made disorder by the crowed after the bragging minister insisted nobody could be allowed to question his decision to leave the Kasese RDC in charge of matter.

In a separate interview after the meeting, Rt. Hon. Best Juliet Kambale Bakoko, the Rwenzururu Kingdom Second Deputy Premier, asked Lt. Joe Walunsimbi, the Kasese RDC to bring on board other stakeholders, including the faith based and cultural institutions among others now that the lands minister had entrusted him with the power for a lasting solution.
