    Lack of garbage truck hampering garbage collection in MLTC

    Garbage collection plans in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha Town Council in Kasese district may remain a mere dream until her garbage truck is repaired.

    Mr. Zeverio Baluku, the area acting environmental officer says, the hardship in garbage collection in the town council frustrated by the mechanical breakdown on the garbage collection truck.

    Addressing a tree planting and garbage collection campaign team members organized by the Karambi Group of people with Disabilities in the area this week, Mr. Zeverio called for calm among the local community members as plan for improvision and repairs on the truck continue. Mr. Zeverio speaking……..

    A local community member who did not want to be identified, said more sensitization messages ought to be promoted against poor garbage disposal by the local community members who dispose in water channels during the wet season. END.
