Police in Kasese District have warned supporters of the National Unity Platform (NUP) from their planned move to welcome the party’s presidential candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine, at Rwimi Bridge in Bunyangabu District tomorrow ahead of his official campaign rallies.
SP Nelson Tumusime, the Rwenzori East Regional Police Commander, reaffirmed the Force’s commitment to dealing with NUP supporters who may attempt to cause chaos or violate law and order.
