Hon. Robert Sentamu Kyagulanyi, the Presidential candidate for the National Unity Platform (NUP), has pledged to offer free education from Primary to University level to Ugandans if he is elected the President of Uganda.
Speaking at a campaign rally in Kisiita town Council in Kakumiro district yesterday, Mr. Kyagulanyi said many families in the country are struggling and cannot afford to raise school fees for their children to attain better education. He says if elected the president of this country, his government would put in place a special fund for education to enable learners to achieve all levels of education at a free cost to minimize the number of school dropouts that is fueled by poverty.
