The National Unity Platform Presidential Candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu, has urged his supporters to maintain discipline to dismiss narratives that they are a violent group.
Kyagulanyi made the remarks this morning while speaking to supporters at the party headquarters in Makerere Kavule, shortly before he left for Jinja City, where he launched his presidential manifesto and campaigns.
Kyagulanyi, together with seven other candidates, was nominated by the Electoral Commission to run for president in the 2026 general election.

Kyagulanyi said he is aware that they are going to meet many challenges, particularly from the security forces trying to stop them from carrying out their lawful activities, but this shouldn’t push the supporters to be violent. End
