Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, the National Unity Platform-NUP party presidential candidate has urged residents of Busia district and Uganda at large to turn up in big number on elections day and protect votes for their favorite presidential candidate come 2026 general elections.
Kyagulanyi was denied access to campaign in Busia Municipality and opted to spend part of yesterday holding rallies at Mayomba primary school play ground in Samia Bugwe North, Butangasi primary school ground in Samia Bugwe Central and in Majanji subcounty at Lumuli primary school ground.
In his address at Butangasi primary school playground, Kyagulanyi said that it is less important to show him support during campaigns and then supporters don’t vote.
He tipped voters to use social media platforms like tiktok, WhatsApp, twitter among others to post-election results from their polling stations.

According to Kyagulanyi, Busia is rich with minerals like gold and a lot of money coming from the border point but his rivals are just taking advantage of the area to make their families rich. END
