    K’se RDC to deal with civil servants asking for bribes before registering Saccos.

    The Kasese Resident district commissioner, Lt Joe Walusimbi has threatened to deal with civil servants who ask for bribes before registering Saccos.

    The RDC who warned yesterday while launching the 2th phase of the presidential initiative commonly known as emyooga in Hima town council Boma ground, Lt. Walusimbi pledged to be on ground but also arrest whoever may want to manipulate the program for personal gains. LT Joe Walusimbi speaking……

    A representative from the Uganda Micro-finance support center, Ms Helen Petronilla Masika said that whereas government was willing to invest more in groups, the beneficiaries should own the programs but also remember to refund as required.

    The Hima town council clerk, Ms Ever Ngene Biira who presented the district COA described the programs as timely in addressing poverty challenges of the common person. Ms Ngene Biira speaking…..
