    Kiyonga won the parliamentary election race for Bukonzo county west.

    The NRM parliamentary aspirant for Bukonzo County west in Kasese district, Mr. Salongo wangalima Isabahasa has said he is happy for winning the race but getting less votes compared to Dr. Kiyonga in yesterday’s NRM parliamentary primary elections, saying that he will remain a strong party cadre.

    Speaking to Kasese guide radio at Bwera tally center in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council, Mr. Wangalima who said he was waiting for the official declaration of results, added that it was baseless for anybody to assert that he was funded from un known source.
