Mr. Samuel Masereka 68 years old has commended Umbrella for Journalists Kasese’s role aimed to unite different tribes and cultures that have co-existed harmoniously in Kasese district through promoting bamboo planting.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio on Wednesday shortly after launching bamboo tree planting by UJK along River Nyamugasani, Samuel urged the local community to focus on environmental conservation as one way to mitigate the disasters in Kasese.
