Police in Kasese has released on bond the chairperson local council one for Kiteso cell in Kasese Municipality Mr. Julius Marahi Binobino, on allegation of threatening violence.
SP. Nelson Tumushiime, the Rwenzori East Region Police spokesperson, confirmed the information saying the suspect was arrested on Tuesday in possession with a spear which the locals allege he could have used to harm a yet to be identified person in the same area.

Meanwhile, Police in Kasese are holding three people from Muhokya town council on allegations of grievous harm, SP.Nelson Tumusiime has said.
The suspects include, Mr. John Tuhayo, Ms. Laheri Mbambu and Mr. Aeron Kisabu both local residents of Muhokya suspected to have participated in throwing one person into a pit latrine where he sustained injuries.

Whereas, Ms Elizabeth Kabugho, a teacher at Kisinga vocational secondary school who was arrested attempting to leak UCE exam has been remanded to Mubuku Government prison until 6th November 2024. End.
