Kisinga town council in Kasese district is to sign a one year temporary Memorandum of Understanding with Agri-Evolve agreement for the later to use the former`s land as the forty nine year land lease is being processed, Mr. Dovocko Thembo, the area local council three chairperson has said.
Last year, Agri-Evolve, an Agro processing and export establishment is said to have requested Kisinga town council to lease for 49 years part of her land for the construction of an agro processing factory.
Mr. Doviko confirmed that the detailed MoU would be reviewed every after 10 years but their development partner, Agri-evolve this case, would pay 24 million shillings for the one year temporary use of the said space as they handle the detailed longer term legal documents.
