Mr. Yanah Bwambale, the Gombolola Internal Security Officer Kisinga subcounty in Kasese district has called for collaborated efforts between security and the local community to tame theft of crops, animals and other related property.
Speaking to our reporter shortly after the community dialogue held in Lhuhwahwa II village in Kajwenge parish, Mr. Bwambale stressed that youths in the area have resorted to stealing cocoa and other crops which he said is likely to affect farmers earning.
He attributed the vice to drunkardness among the youth asking community members to desist from alcoholism.
He however, revealed that as sub county leadership they will not tolerate the vice threatening to arrest whoever will be found guilty.
