Nyamwamba Division Authority has warned vendors in Kisanga Market against operating illegal businesses especially street vending.
They have realized that the habit is on the rise especially during market days, which they say puts the lives of people at risk.
In an interview with Mr. Asanayiri Music a Boda-Boda rider says it’s a disadvantage to those who operate legally and those who pay trading licenses as they lose customers to street vendors.
He said people compete for space on walkways as vendors display their items on pavements. Mr.Asanayiri speaking…..
Ms. Ruth Biira, a Matooke and Irish Potato dealer who said the congestion of street vending is attributed to misunderstanding between the vendors, called for urgent intervention by the market leadership.
Ms. Ruth speaking…….
