The Kasese Municipal Secretary for Works and Technical services, Hon. John Siriwayo has said the temporary halt in the construction of roads in Kirembe Ward was forced by some community members who denied accesses to their plots.
Speaking to Kasese guide radio yesterday, Hon. Siriwayo asked the local population to know the use of roads which he said give value to land, guarantee security of the On-going construction of Kirembe roads in Kasese Municipality have temporarily been stopped after some people denied the grader access to their plots.
The secretary for works Hon. Siriwayo John regretted the situation where he wondered how some selfish people are frustrating the rest of the community members from accessing first class marrum road that would help them have better means of communication.
