    King Mumbere hosts Kasese town clerks

    The Rwenzururu King His Majesty Charles Wisley Mumbere Iremangoma has hailed central division council in Kasese Municipality for passing a Motion seeking the installation of a historical Monument at Kasese Round about in memory of the Late Isaya Mukirania, the first Rwenzururu King.

    Mumbere said the Rwenzururu Kingdom is one of the cultural institutions recoganized by the constitution, the late Isaya Mukirania Monument is feasible and should be installed as agreed upon by the councilors yesterday.

    He made the remarks this afternoon while interacting with Kasese District Local Government town clerks who made a courtesy call to him at his royal residence in Kamaiba cell, Kasese Municipality. Omusinga one speaking…

    In a report presented to him by the Chairperson Town clerks, Ms. Alice Bwambale Thabughakyolho, appreciated Government for dropping all charges against King Mumbere and his royal guards and allowing him to return back to his Kingdom.

    The town clerks requested the Kings guidance on issues, including the district split in the way that favors the kingdom for Job creation, promoting tourism, ending domestic Violence, linking up with other cultural institutions, lobbying for scholarships, empowering women and construction of security Roads in Mountainous areas.

    His Majesty Mumbere, revealed that prior to his return on 0ctober 04th he had engagements with President Museveni on strategies to foster peace and the development in the sub-region.
