Mr. John Kimadi, the former district councilor for Muhokya subcounty plans to change Kasese Municipal Central Division into a model local government unit should he be entrusted with the mandate as the local council three chairperson for the area come 2026.
Addressing a press conference in Kasese town yesterday, Mr. Kimadi who pledges to promote lobbying as the chairman among his councilors, said the beauty of the central division shouldn’t be determined by the good roads in the town center but the state of roads and the environment in Katadoba, Kamaiba, Railway and Kirembe among other cells.

In preparation for the 2026 General Elections, the electoral commission has released a roadmap where the national voters’ register update has been scheduled for 20th January to 10th February 2025. END
