Ms. Jane Birungi, the Executive Director for Kilembe Investments limited attributes the firm ownership base and dedicated Board of Directors as the reason her institution is ranked the best Rural Electrification Agency in Uganda.
Kilembe Investments limited was recently recognized during the National Patriotism celebrations at Kololo ceremonial grounds as the best Rural electrification agency in Uganda.
During a telephone interview with our reporter last evening, Ms. Jane who described her staff and their Board of Directors as exceptional said, whereas a few individual establish companies, more than 3000 people and institutions owning Kilembe investment; are their strength.

Ms. Jane who also attributed compliance and European Union support to the recent recognition for good performance by government, said the two years` lockdown did force any radical decision to reduce staff as other institutions did despite the challenges. Ms. Jane speaking2…….
She said their continuous fulfillment of the Millennium Development Goals and vision 2040 set by the government, are some of the reasons they were ably dealing with their challenges to deliver better services and win awards. Ms. Jane speaking3……..
Ms. Jane was earlier full of smiles that Kilembe Investments Limited had graduated from 27 to 268 kilometers of high voltage and from 54 to 566 kilometers of low voltage in and outside Kasese district. END
