Kikorongo Women Community a nongovernmental Organization in Lake-Katwe Sub-County has registered success in skilling primary school pupils at Kahokya Primary school in Kahokya sub-county, Kasese district.
Mr. Vincent Baluku, a teacher in charge of skilling noted that the level of unemployment can only be overcome by refocusing the education system into skilling.
He said about One hundred leaners and school dropout have been trained in making re-usable sanitary pads, sewing and computer literacy, funded by “Girls first fund USA”.
