Forty Nine Members of Kihara Ward Parish Development Model Sacco in Kasese Municipality have each received One Million shillings.
Mr. Jerome Masereka Sibitsomwa, the PDM chairperson told Kasese Guide Radio today shortly after witnessing Centenary Deposit Bank Messages to the beneficiaries in Kasese town that out of 500 Million shillings allocated to their PDM Sacco only 207 million has so far been disbursed to date.
Sibitsomwa commended Government for establishing PDM project aimed to fight poverty at household levels.

Mr. Julius Munaba, the local council two chairperson for Kihara Ward asked the Community Development Officer for Nyamwamba Division Mr. Kelvin Baluku to guide the youth and elderly on how to access the youth Livelihood funds and SAGE.
Mr. Geoffrey Baluku, Ms. Gevina Masika and Ms. Malita Mbambu, some of the beneficiaries pledged to utilize the PDM funds as per their approved business plans. Mr. Baluku and Masika speaking….
