Jimmy Agaba, who was reportedly kidnapped in Kasese town, has been found dumped in an eucalyptus forest a few kilometers from his home.
Agaba was allegedly abducted yesterday at around 3:00 AM from his home by three unidentified assailants.
The attackers reportedly robbed him of 750,000 Shillings and a phone.
Rwenzori East Police spokesperson, SP.Nelson Tumushime, informed the media today that after receiving an alert, both the police and the local community launched a manhunt for the victim and the suspects.
They managed to discover Agaba, with both his hands and legs tied, dumped in a forest.
The victim was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital Diocese of Kasese, where he is undergoing treatment.
SP.Tumushime has warned business people against moving with cash into their homes and noted that police are still pursuing the suspects.
