Food vendors at Kiburara trading centre in Kisinga sub-county Kasese District have called for guided plans by the local leaders to have market dues reduced by the local revenue contractor.
Basing on the hard economic crisis, Ms. Maurine Mbambu and Nziabake Constance Nyasoki, maize vendors have decried that the amount of money charged per day on a cooked source pan of maize has increased from One thousand to one thousand five hundred shillings.
According to Maurine and Nyasoki the engagement with the local revenue contractor by the vendors has yielded no results yet even health and sanitation is allegedly in sorry state.
Ms. Maurine and Nyasoki speaking…
Nyasoki, who doubles as the Chairperson for Kiburara trading centre was fearful of Cholera outbreak should the local Government leaders fail to intervene about local revenue collection and the just established abattoir. END.
