Kenya’s opposition leader Raila Odinga says no-one will be spared in an anti-corruption campaign he promises to implement if elected president in next month’s poll.
Mr. Odinga is making a fifth and final attempt at the country’s top job.
The 77-year-old former Prime Minister told me that at his age, he doesn’t intend to vie again but he would still have much to do even if he isn’t elected.
He said he had been out of active politics, but the African Union appointed him as the High representative on Infrastructure and it kept him very busy.
Should he win, Mr. Odinga says he will focus on fighting corruption after the Kenya’s President has said the country loses more than16 million US dollars a day to corruption. END
