By Peter Masereka,
Parents and guardians from Christian families have been urged to turn their actions and faith into a bedrock for the young generation to lean on.
In his homily while presiding over Second Holy Mass at St. John Kisanga Roman Catholic Church in Kasese parish, the Curate for Hima Parish, Rev. Fr. Mariko Bwambale reminded parents about the promises made during the baptism of their children thus, urging them to be at the forefront of practicing and teaching Church values and norms to the young people.
Fr. Mariko described a home and a parent as the first Church and Catechist respectively to guide mainly children about what is required of them on matters of Salvation. Fr. Mariko speaking ………
He said like a tree has no life without soil, mankind is dead without Christ and thus, asking Christians to cleave themselves to the Lord for eternity.
The Mass yesterday also closed a two days conference for the members of St. Jude Tedious in Kasese Parish. END
