    By Peter Masereka,

Rev. Fr. Joseph Kirungi, the Rector for Our Lady of Assumption Kasese cathedral parish has asked Christians to well interpret and make good use of the Ten Commandments of God if they were to inherit the Kingdom of God.

He called for love, respect for parents and fear of God among other Commandments of God as means to cement their relationship with the Creator.

In his Homily while presiding over third Mass during the celebrations of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral in the Diocese of Kasese today, Fr. Kirungi asked Christians to use the special gift of the Blessed Virgin Mary for their intercession.

He asked believers in Christ to emulate the Blessed Mother of the Church to stand firm for others to bring up exemplary, God fearing and responsible children. Rev. Fr. Kirungi speaking1…….

Fr. Kirungi later described the Blessed Virgin Mother Mary as a complete winner for being taken up body and soul into the glory of heaven, mother of the Savior and being a source of happiness to other women like it was for her pregnant cousin Elizabeth during Mother Mary’s visit. Rev. Fr. Kirungi speaking2…….

He said blessed were Christians who asked Mother Mary to intercede for them all time. END.
