The court of appeal in Kampala has today ruled the appeal in favor of Kasese district local government on the disputed land that hosts Kasese Multipurpose hall with costs.
Court presided over by three justices of court of appeal, Justice Smegonda Ntende, Hon Justice Stephen Musota and Hon. Justice Remi Kasule ruled that the disputed land belongs to Kasese district local government.
The Chief administrative officer for Kasese district Mr. Amis Asumani who spoke to our reporter shortly after court’s ruling said the court of appeal has ruled in their favor and those who had accused the district will pay all costs as directed by the three justices of court of appeal.

Earlier, the Kasese magistrate’s court and the High court in fort portal had ruled in favor of Mr. Binobino Buhaka Rusiano and four others, the ruling which was censored today by the court of appeal. ENDS
