Lt. Maate Magwara, the Kasese Deputy Resident District Commissioner in charge of Bukonzo County has asked the Muhindi government for possibilities of elevating Kayanja health center two to a three status.
Addressing the local residents later after touring the Katholhu-Kayanja road construction works yesterday, Lt. Magwara was concerned that looking at a peninsula like Kayanja fishing land and the risks associated with an area surrounded by a national park, the establishment of a health center three would be the best option to save lives especially of expectant mothers and their babies. Lt. Magwara had earlier asked parents and guardians for mindset change that do not cleave their children only to lake related activities but education. END
