The Katwe-Kabatooro town council local residents in Kasese district have a reason to smile after they received an Ambulance that was procured to fill the gaps associated with the transportation of patients and expectant mothers in the area.
Handing to the town council leadership led by Mr. JohnBosco Kananura, the Chairperson LC 3, the town clerk, Ms Catherine Mbambu said that the ambulance worthy ninety million shillings was co-funded by the revenue sharing from UWA and the local revenue from her office to mitigate transport challenges to the referred patients in the area whose lives have been at risk for long. The Katwe-Kabatooro local council three chair, Mr. JohnBosco Kananura Omulodi who hailed the UWA leadership for the support was hopeful that the Ambulance would save lives of his electorates who had had transport challenges for decades whenever referred.
