The local council leadership and residents of top hill cell in Katwe-Kabatooro town council in Kasese district have called for expedited plans rebuild water cages along the shores of Lake Edward restored in the town council.
Government built over five water cages along the lake as a means to protect the local community from the deadly crocodiles whose attacks have claimed many lives.

The Katwe-Kabatooro town council local council three chairperson, Mr. Johnbosco Kananura Omulodi said whereas his office was doing her best to rebuild the cages, more boreholes are being constructed for safe and clean water, as well as guaranteeing the security of the locals against crocodiles.
About nine cages are spread in the cells of Kyarukara, Kiganda, Rwenjubu, Kakone and Kyakitale among others along Lake Edward in Katwe-Kabatooro town council. END
