Residents of Katoke One Village in Bugoye sub-county Kasese district, are calling for the elevation of Katoke Health center two to three status, to enable them get better services.
Speaking during the recent Public Accountability meeting held at Nyangonge Primary school, the residents told the district boss Mr. Erifaz Muhindi that the Population of the area has increased, putting pressure on the only existing health center two.
Mr.Zabron Mumbere, the Local Council One chairperson for Katoke one village, said that most people who are suffering are women, noting that Bugoye Health centre three and Rukoki Health centre four which offer advanced services are about 30 Kilometers away from their area.

Other issues raised during the meeting include, the poor performance of government schools, understaffing and late reporting by the health workers in Katoke health centre II.
