Kasese chief Magistrates Court has today Committed Mr. Jackson Muhindo Kasulenge to high court to answer two charges of Murder, Kasese Guide Radio can reliably report.
Court presided over by her worship Ajok Betty heard that while in Kamughobe one village in Kisinga Sub County in Kasese district on 5th January, 2023, Kasulenge reportedly murdered his wife late Mary Biira Shamim and his biological brother late Kabutusi Joles Kasulenge on 30th, July, 2023 and secretly buried them.
Her worship Ajok, committed Jackson Kasulenge to high court for trial since she had no Jurisdiction to hear the two cases of murder after police had completed investigations.
Counsel Godfrey Oundo, the District state attorney had earlier asked the chief magistrate to commit Mr. Kasulenge to High court.

Meanwhile, same court has remanded the self-proclaimed leader of Basongora in Kasese District, Dan Kashagama to Mubuku Government prison until 12th, March, 2024. Court heard that while in Hima town council in Nyakakindo cell on 29th, January 2020, Kashagama caused malicious damage to a banana plantation and two roomed house in the area. END.
