All is in place for the International women’s day celebrations for Kasese district, Mrs. Queen-gonda Tugume, the Kasese Principal Community Development offer has said.
In a separate interview, Ms. Angela Birungi, the district NRM women’s league chairperson, an organizer asked women to turn up in big numbers now that all in place to have a day a successful one.
She said other than the speeches, the military band, sports and local artists were in place to relieve the celebrants from stress.

Hon. Sisiria Biira, the Kasese Municipal Female councilor representing Railway ward like many local female leaders, said full involvement of women in leadership positions is enough for celebrations.
