    Kasese Woman MP urged to mobilize for more pit-latrines constructions in hard to reach areas

    Mrs. Julaika Kyikusa, the head teacher for Bughederu primary school Kyabarungira subcounty in Kasese district has tasked the Kasese Woman Member of Parliament to mobilize for the construction of more pit-latrines at most schools in the hard to reach areas whose learners are more inconvenienced.

    According to Ms Julaika, more than one thousand learners queue severally to make use of only four latrine stances at her school, an environment she said interrupts the learning process each day.

    She asks for the intervention of the Kasese woman legislator whom she request to tour these schools so as to lobby from an informed point of view. Mrs. Julaika speaking……..

    Hon. Florence said she was going to follow up the matter she described as un fortunate and a total frustration to the learning process.

    The journalism trained politician also called for collaborated efforts by the both the local community and politicians to neutralize the changes affecting the education system in the mountainous hard to reach areas that have forced off some teachers. Hon. Florence speaking…..

    Mr. Charles Mate Masaduku, the local council three chairperson for Kyabarungira sub-county said as the sensitization of the community begins about the value of education, he threatened to deal with any parents involving their children in domestic work than sending them to school.
