Kasese District is to celebrate Tarehe Sita on Saturday this week, Lt. Maate Magwara, the Kasese Deputy Resident District Commissioner in Charge of Bukonzo County has confirmed.
Speaking to Kasese Guide Radio at the Mayor’s gardens in Kasese municipality last evening, Lt Magwara who said preparations for the function scheduled to be held at Mpondwe primary school in Mpondwe-Lhubiriha town council were in high gears, said the 44th celebrations over the weekend would be headed by the 222 Mountain Bridge headquartered at Kavera in Hima.
Lt. Magwara said Kasese would not afford celebrating the day as the national function was on in Kyotera district on Feb 6th 2025, calling all peace loving Ugandans all over the district and neighboring areas to turn up in big numbers for the celebrations. Lt Magwara speaking……..
