He also called for all round and collaborated plans against corruption, laziness among the locals, food insecurity and poverty if the district was to be a point of reference to many.
Mr. Muhindi who also revealed that Kasese district was consulting about a possibility of celebrating her golden jubilee since announced an independent district in 1974, was responding to concerns by Mr. Jafali Kigutiha, the local council one chair for Basecamp lower about what he called civil service job sale and honoring President Iddi Amin Dada for a district status. Speaking to this radio at the Mayor’s gardens in Kasese municipality yesterday, Mr. Muhindi who said the celebrations had tentatively been scheduled for October, added it was not a crime to name a road or public asset after President Iddi Amin Dada for his pronouncement, including the first secondary school; Saad Memorial secondary school that Kasese people are proud of.
He also asked the people of Kasese to practically join his campaign against the corrupt and their agents if Kasese District was to be accountable to her citizens. Mr. Muhindi speaking……
