Teachers in Kasese District have been urged to embrace the use of information communication technology-ICT if they are to improve learning and teaching of learners in schools.
The call was made today by the District Education Officer, Mr. Ernest Bwambale Thabugha while addressing head teachers of Kasese Municipality and Busongora County south during a one day training on E-learning, held at Kasese Primary school in Kasese town.
He described ICT as important in the teaching-learning process, because it provides access to multiple sources of knowledge and collaboration in various sectors, improving teacher’s capacities as well as becoming relevant in the 21st century professionals.
