About 100 kilograms of goats’ meat and twenty ropes from suspected stolen goats were discovered in the house belonging to Mr. Moses Muhindo, a suspected thief who handed himself to police, fearing a suspected mob.
Speaking to our reporter at his office this morning, Police spokesperson for Rwenzori East Region, SP Nelson Tumusiime confirmed the arrest of Mr. Moses, the operator of a low cost restaurant adjacent to Skyz Bar and Lounge on Crescent road in Kasese Municipality.
He also reported that large amounts of meat and 20 ropes had been discovered at the suspect’s home during a cordon and search operation of the suspect’s residence by police following concerns by mainly the locals of Umoja cell. SP Nelson speaking1………
