Lt. Joe Walunsimbi, the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Kasese, has warned the public against engaging in subversive acts that put their lives at risk.
Referring to the November 1st attacks on police installations in Kasese, Bundibugyo, and Fort Portal attacks that involved people from the Rwenzori sub region Walunsimbi described the incidents as shameful to the residents, especially now that the ruling NRM government has brought peace to the country.
His comments followed a concern raised by Mr. Jafali Kigutiha, the Local Council One Chairperson for Basecamp Lower Cell in Kasese Municipality, who reported to the RDC during a security meeting on Monday about the rise in criminal activity in Kasese town.
