No big case of violence has so far been reported during yesterdays(04th September 2020) NRM parliamentary elections, the Kasese RDC Lt Joe Walusimbi has said.
Despite the fact that no official comment had been made by police about the polls, Lt Joe Walusimbi, the head of security in the district said that no violent incident had been reported to his office despite a few disagreements in isolated areas in the district.
The NRM Registrar for Kaghorwe village in Kyondo sub county, Kasese district Mr. Peter Thembo Tumwine disqualified some NRM Voters on grounds of missing in the party register. Mr. Tumwine……….

Ms Kipanga Miriam a resident of Munkunyu Sub County in Kasese district told our reporter that voting by standing on line behind candidates’ agents was the best way compared to secret ballot. Ms Kipanga speaking……
Meanwhile, at Muhokya primary school in Muhokya town council counting of votes was repeated after disagreement over the election outcomes according to the report given by our agent in the area Ms Loice Masika.

In Bugoye subcounty, there was low turn of voters as some were even called by public systems as they had first attended to their gardens in this planting season.
In Kasese municipality at Mwaro- Kyondo polling station, voting was cancelled over disagreements between either camps.
