At least thirty-eight Primary schools out of sixty-one in Kasese Municipality have managed to register grade one and above in this year’s mock examinations.
A number of twenty five primary schools never managed to score grade one with most failures identified in Bulembia division and Nyamwamba east zones, registering 256 failures.
Releasing Kasese Municipality Primary schools Mock results at Kasese secondary school this afternoon, the Secretary for Education Head teachers Association Kasese Municipality, Mr.Sibaminya Sam Monday said a total number of 2,640 pupils sat for this year’s mock examinations in Kasese Municipality.
The best performed subject was English, followed with integrated science, social studies and mathematics being the worst, registering a decrease compared to last year.
Mr. Sibaminya, identified the best primary schools as Parental Care, Nadir preparatory, trusted care, Margarita primary school and cream land among private schools and Kamaiba Primary school, in Government aided schools. Mr. Sibaminya one speaking….
