Kasese Municipal Education Department has handed over two construction sites for five stance pit latrines at Kirembe and Mburakasaka primary schools in Kasese Municipality.
The sites were handed over recently to KBM construction Co.Ltd and Kambezi investment LTD by the Municipal Education officer Mr. Emmy Kayiri.
Mr. Kayiri cautioned the two contractors against shoddy works that may lead to cancellation of their contract.Mr.Kayiri on pit-latrine….
He said the funds under school facilities grant is aimed to see learners have access to good health and quality education, with a condition of producing good grades.
Kayiri therefore, advised parents to appreciate the value of education since educated people transform the society economically, socially and politically.
Kasese Municipal secretary for social services Hon Herbert Bwambale, asked the contractors to keep on site, supervise to avoid shoddy works.
