The Media Fraternity in Kasese district is again mourning one of their own, Mr. Charles Muhindo, a former senior news Reporter working with Light FM owned by the Adventist Church in Kasese.
Mr. Geoffrey Kanyonyi, the radio`s Station manager confirmed the information and described late Charles as a hard working News Reporter who died on duty.
According to Mr. Kanyonyi, the late Charles who was returning from Bunyangabu district to cover a swearing ceremony for the district Chairperson Elect for Bunyangabu district met his fate in Hima, before being rushed to Kilembe Mines hospital where he died about an hour later.
He later announced that prayers would held at Better Living Center in Kasese town before his Body could be taken to Bunyiswa village in Nyakiyumbu Sub County for Burial. Mr. Kanyonyi speaking……….
Mr. Gerald Tusiime Muhindo, a Salt TV reporter in Kasese said that he had been with the late Charles at Bunyangabo district headquarters for the swearing in ceremony but that the deceased insisted on returning in time to file the details of the story he went for. Mr. Gerald speaking…..
It has been a sad note to the Media fraternity in Kasese that has lost four of her personnel, including, former English News Anchor at South Rwenzori Messiah, Ms Sheila Nakabuye, Messiah Radio`s sports Presenter, Mr. Babido, and Late Denis Mumbere.
