Dr. Crispus Kiyonga, the Makerere University Chancellor has challenged students in higher institutions of learning not only to heep transcripts but rather translate them into practical interventions against challenges faced by their places of work, families and communities.

Dr. Kiyonga, a prominent farmer in the Rwenzori sub-region who revealed that some universities were planning to train their students in hands on skills in addition to their principle courses, later described as missing a point for one to assess unemployment on failure by a graduate to get a government job yet they can exploit their university knowledge for startup income generating projects for a livings than wasting time on streets.
